broken image

  • The black face bug is an old problem that occurs when several mods edits the same NPC faces, there's no easy fix and often even mods that has nothing to do with NPC's edits them but i recently found a great mod called NPCProc (NoButchWalk) that works great with SSE.
  • This video was made for my mod Werewolf Companions to assist users in creating their own patch; however, this method can be used to patch any mod.

There are a few reasons why you may be experiencing an issue with black screens when launching Fallout 4 on PC.

Before troubleshooting this issue, you should first ensure that your machine meets Fallout 4's system requirements here. Most issues related to game performance can be attributed to hardware.

As a reminder, it is not incumbent on Black people to fix the racism that they constantly face. The NFL still has a chance to take truly meaningful actions in the anti-racism fight, but their. Currently, the 'Fallout 4' Metacritic score sits at a very good 89 - better than 'Halo 5: Guardians,' 'Call of Duty: Black Ops 3' and 'Rise of the Tomb Raider' - so the bugs didn't seem to. We recommend you try the following troubleshooting steps:

Make sure Fallout 4 and Steam are on the same drive

For the best gameplay experience, we recommend installing the game on your your primary drive, typically the C drive. Whichever drive you do install it on, you should ensure the Steam game client is installed on that drive as well.

Update Graphics Card Drivers

You can find drivers for supported video cards here:

Note: We recommend you manually download the latest drivers from the above sites and ensure your previous drivers are fully deleted before updating.

Remove Mods

Custom mods can in some cases cause in-game performance issues. We recommend disabling or removing any installed mods and trying again.

To disable a Mod, open Fallout 4 and select Mods from the main menu. From there, find the Mod you wish to uninstall in your Library, select it, and use the Disable option.

To delete a Mod, open Fallout 4 and select Mods from the main menu. From there, find the Mod you wish to delete in your Library, select it, and use the Delete option.

Force the System to Recognize Primary GPU

Black screens may occur if your computer does not recognize the video card required to play Fallout 4. This can be an issue with laptops or other unique systems, and most often occurs when a machine has two graphics cards.
You can force your system to recognize your video card by following the instructions below:

NVIDIA Graphics Cards

  5. Select the executable file for the game (Fallout.exe).
  6. In the 'Select the preferred graphics processor for this program' option, open the drop-down menu and select High-performance NVIDIA processorand confirm.
  7. To improve performance, to the 'Specify the settings for this program:' section, click Power management mode, and select Prefer maximum performanceand confirm.

    3. Triple buffering to off

AMD Graphics Cards

  1. Open AMD Radeon Settings.
  2. Select Preference on the bottom tab.

  4. In the Radeon Additional Settings window, select Switchable Graphics Application Settings under the Power.
  5. Select All Applications, locate the Fallout.exe and click the 'Graphic Settings' box to the right of the game .exe and select High performance.

  3. Click the Apply button at the bottom right.

Note: The above instructions may change depending on version and unique graphics card. If you require further assistance, you should contact AMD Support here: http://support.amd.com/en-us.

If you are playing on a laptop and the above instructions did not force the game to run off your dedicated GPU, then you may have to configure some of your power saving features.
Power saving features will sometimes override high-performance profiles to save battery life. When the computer attempts to save battery life, it will switch to the integrated card because it does not require as many resources to run. You can resolve this by following the process below:

  1. Press the Battery icon in the notification area of your taskbar.
  2. Select More power options.. and then expand the Show additional plans section.
  3. Select High performance and then close the window.
  4. Plug in your power cable to ensure that your battery does not run low while playing.

Check the System's Anti-virus Software

It is possible that your anti-virus software is causing Fallout 4 to crash on launch. To resolve this, we recommend adding Fallout 4 as an exception. If you are unsure about how to adding a game to your anti-virus' exception list, you should contact the software developer for support.

We also recommend adding an exception to Steam to help prevent any future issues related to downloading the game.

Hello everyone!

I've been having some texture issues with Fallout 4. Some textures morph with other ones, some get glitched and look very strange..

I've no idea what could be causing these issues since it happens exclusively in Fallout 4, every other game I have works 'fine'. I tried under-clocking my GPU, re-seating it, reinstalling drivers, etc. I have no viruses or malware and neither the CPU or GPU are overheating. This is a very frustrating issue since it happens very randomly and I have to restart the game to get rid of it.

It happens randomly, after around 5 minutes of playtime or after 2 hours. It is not specific to a type of texture, as it can happen to anything, no matter size or type. It does go away if I get close to the object, but as soon as I move away it reappears. I'm guessing it has something to do with distance-specific textures getting corrupted when loading? I must also mention that this happens whether the game is modded or not. I did a fresh install recently to prepare for the 1.3 patch and it still happens.

I have no clue how to get rid of this! Any and all help is appreciated. I have made an album on Imgur with screenshots of the issues here.

Duplicate manager pro 1.2.8 full %2b crack mac os x. My specs in case anyone needs them:

CPU: AMD A10 5800k (OC to 4.4Ghz, previously 4.6 but I had to increase voltage to 1.45 and that made me uneasy)

GPU: MSI Gaming R9 380 4Gb (OC 1000Mhz Clock, 1500Mhz Memory)

RAM: Kingston Hyper X Fury 2x4GB 1866Mhz

PSU: Silverstone Strider Plus ST60F 600w Fully Modular

Storage: Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250Gb (OS + Fallout 4), 1tb WD Blue (other Steam games), 250gb WD Caviar Blue (media), 500gb Toshiba HDD in a Rosewill external enclosure (backups and software installers)

Current GPU drivers: Catalyst 15.11.1beta

I rolled back from Crimson, since it both didn't fix the issues and made my PC very unstable. I got sick of dealing with constant GPU crashing in games, especially in Fallout 4. Catalyst is stable for me.
